An objective of making a trip to the UK is to meet friends and relatives - some of whom we haven't seen for ages.
Richard was David's flat-mate when they were in uni. We met up in Birmingham, after the Brum reunion - first time after 45 years. Richard and Jackie live in Edinburgh - a place to visit in the future.Another moment of friends united - with Mark and Eric at Eric's house in the village of Whitworth.
Dave Watson whom I last saw in the UK about 20 years ago.
He was born in the Cotswolds but prefers to live in Yorkshire.
Diane who lives in Yorkshire but travelled to London just to chat with us for a few hours at the Crypt at St Martin's. The only LSE classmate I am in touch with.
David with his cousins in Cumbria - Diane and Lynn
David's uncle Granville in Darwen,
Mark and Gail in Bridgend.
We also visited the other David Whitworth, Mark's eldest son, and his family (no photo though)
Never fail to see Richard and Ruth in London whenever we were in the city.
The Dallys, our Penang friends -we spent the first 2 days and the last 2 days of our UK trip in their English home, always enjoy Ranu's home-cooked meals.
Plus many other friends - the Coopers, Penylan neighbours, Jenny's cousin and friend, and the Emersonians
