NZ Travelogue Day 34 to 35

After a short visit to the Hasting Art Gallery,  we were disappointed that most shops in  the city were closed, being a Sunday. So off we went to Havelock North for lunch, and what a find - an Irish pub that served delicious food and  sticky date pudding - our favourite dessert.

Dropped by Black Barn Vineyards - for the art gallery rather than the wine, and then to Birdwood Gallery.

Surprised by the many displays of sculpture in the garden, and the sculptors were from Zimbabwe. Very elegant and touching. Glad that we visited the gallery. And also a small old fashion sweet shop on site.

Next destination - Te Mata Peak - to have a 360 degree view of Hawkes Bay. On the way,  had a quick look of Taruna College along Te Mata Peak Road.

See how small I am on the Peak!!

Next day - rain, rain, rain.  Stay in day. Well, we had a good day at Havelock North.
